Somewhere over the rainbow, models show up when they're supposed to. Last night mine didn't, so no figure drawings to share today. (I was so eager to draw her, too. Oh well, next week.) Anyway, here's a pair of ruby slippers my daughter C bought last night, from that enchanted country near the Spanish-Chinese border.

I love them, and I was going to say the same thing as wally. That crooked toe makes them real.

Great shoes! That wobbly edge on the top shoe really brings them to life.

Hi K! Yes, they're embroidered silk. Aren't they confectionary? Yes, well, when my feet calm down from their recent adventures, maybe I'll be able to wear cuteish shoes, too. About the herring boxes---dreadful sorry, Clementine.

Shoe challenge red-ux! I like them. They look like embroidered silk? Are they?
I wish I could wear darling shoes like that. All mine are herring boxes without topses.
