Laura, these drawings really appeal to me. I'm enjoying your green phase!

Thanks all of you! Harry, I love to see you any old time. Cin and Linda, I'm so glad you came and peeked at the gardenias! I thought you'd both be interested---Cin for the linework and Linda for the gardenias and I was right! Cin, I've done a fair amount of this kind of drawing (there are a few examples in my sketchbook album at left if you're interested)--I search always for a contemplative way of making art and this is as close as I've come. Linda, I wish you could grow gardenias, too! Is it too cold in the winter there?

the lines here are so ? calligraphic, graceful, fluid are some of the words that come to mind. done all in one go without erasure obviously which kinda makes my jaw drop !
and really like the way you're posting your work, I like the smaller pic best, they're so lovely side by side in your sketchbook, and appreciate the other pic so I can see more detail.

I hate making my rounds so late. Everyone says all the best stuff before me.
I wish i could do things like this. this summer, i'm going to try and open up a little. I just don't have much time right now.
I was hoping to see those studio pics by now =P

Thanks for adding me to your links!
I've really enjoyed being a part of the EDM group. You and the others really encourage me to draw, and that's something I don't get enough of IRL.
