for no good reason: souvenirs of today's pre-dawn dog walk. If I could ditch the dog, I'd be able to draw the world materializing before my very eyes. The dawn is really thrilling when you think about it.

I haven't been able to visit much becuase of my travels lately. Hopefully, life will be slowing down soon...

Hi Chuck, dawn is my favorite, but sunset is a second by a skinny hair's breadth!

Agreed Laura. Dawn is the best time of the day. Tgat and sunset. Perhaps I would get more drawing done if I saw a few more surises, huh?

Thanks, everybody! I'm enjoying all the color study from this year and it is fun seeing some of the results creep into the work. That was the point, but still. R, we have four more weeks of purple left, so don't panic ;D. Evy, I'm just taking one color at a time in turn and filling a sketchbook with things in/on/of that color. I promise I'll explain more when I'm all through!
