Every time it rains it rains Pennies *Fannies from heaven.
Don't you know each cloud contains Pennies Fannies from heaven.
You'll find your fortune falling
All over town.
Be sure that your umbrella is upside down.
Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers.
If you want the things you love
You must have showers.
So when you hear it thunder
Don't run under a tree.
There'll be pennies fannies from heaven for you and me
Based on a drawing by Primatice from the 2004 Louvre exhibit 'Italy in the Court of France, 1540-1590.'
And on that cheerful note, let's bid adieu to Blind Contour Fridays 2005! And hello 2006---we're more than ready for you!
For far more decorous Blind Contour Friday submissions please go to Inkfanny right this very minute!
*A kind reader reminded me that 'fanny' means something altogether different in UK English. Whoops. Sorry! Derrieres from Heaven just doesn't have the same bounce somehow, though that, of course, is the body part in question here.

Ha! Thanks to all of you who were brave enough to comment on my derrieres. R, that was perfect! J, I beg your pardon? ;D. E, thanks so much---and get back to the drawing board, girl! Lydia, congrats on your blog and hugs to you.

Pffftt!!!! Oh Laura - if the lacy knickers brought you lots of Uncle Pervy traffic then your lyrics will bring you coachloads LMAO
I actually have an Aunty Fan (it can also refer to the name Frances) which is my middle name. No website updates for me for a while (having my workroom redecorated) so have a happy, happy New Year!
