Whatever happened to the lazy days of summer? In the midst of a July full of work, unexpected obligation, and event-going, most of it fun, I felt I had to snatch a few minutes to record some of yesterday's gleanings from our local farmers' market. So here you have them: flowers, eggplants, tomatoes. Plunked. Painted.
(As always, you may click on images for enlargements.)

Thank you very much, one and all! I use lots of paint and not so much water and I use as big a brush as I can and I seem to choose calligraphic shapes whether I intend it or not---thus the loose and 'watery' results. I want to be so much better at it and I keep trying and trying. It's a lifelong process!

I've already stopped by with my 'WOW' comment but your vase of flowers did not reveal itself to me at that time so I just had to comment on the intensity of your colour splashes. Amazing Laura!
