Claire and Paul, below, the gorgeous progeny of my friend Casey, will be the first to tell you they are no angels. But they are heavenly looking, even if my drawings, done while all of us were drinking champagne, don't convey that quality as well as they should. These sketches were done in Paris and Bruges last week.

Laura! I've been under the weather and missed this post. Paul just told me on the phone how much he likes his portrait. They are gorgeous drawings of both of them - you managed to capture a likeness while making them look so angelic!
The drawings from Bruges are wonderful - I don't think I had seen them. I always love the distinctive way you use color.
