So glad you came by, Cathy! Those highly transparent colors drive me, the former oil painter, nuts sometimes! I know there's a way around them so I just keep going ;D. Nice to have this struggle in common with you! I am going to see what you've been up to lately, too. Thanks so much for your nice thoughts.

This is, as always, so very interesting!! I haven't come here for a while, and I'm thrilled to discover such a wealth of sketches and paintings and colours!
I also have so many paintings in progress, it's somewhat comforting to know I'm not the only one working like this. I've also been practising the quinacridones (for the last 2-3 years) but I still don't feel I 'master' them, I still struggle, and I've only realised how much I've struggled once I read your words about finding it difficult to use them. Why is that so?
I think it's funny to see how such or such colour creeps in your work and revels there whatever you paint or sketch!
Love the sketch of the three flower pots!
