Seven week old Abby F. saved her family from certain death at the hands of a vicious Quaker Oats box (pictured below in file photo) early this morning. "I had just gone outside to get the paper when I heard ferocious growls and the sound of scuffling on the kitchen floor. By the time I got there, the danger was past. Abby had shaken the box into a state of unconsciousness. The police arrived moments after my 911 call and took the villain into custody. We are so very proud of our brave pup! To think what would have happened to us had she not been here---well, I just can't," said the dog's owner, shivering.
Abby F., pictured at left, rests after her heroic struggle. The Quaker Oats box remains in critical condition at Memorial Hospital. Criminal charges are pending.

Ah, just wait til you see how she protects you from a rogue boot-attack! Our Ripley tamed those, too, when she was young, before I learned to keep the closet door firmly locked. You still have teething to look forward to, you know!
