Some of you may remember the bitter melons from last week:
I bought these odd beauties at the farmers' market. Several nice readers sent tips and recipes. Alas, I did what I always do when there are too many things to cook and ambivalence about cooking (some of) them. I mean, bitter? Who needs it?
I give you, again, Bitter Melon. Pretty amazing, eh? In one week, it turned orange, split and ejected some gorgeous ruby seeds. How many of us can say we did as much ?
I forgot to thank you all for your comments, so thank you!

Well, I remember that happening to me a few times over the years. They're all grown now.
Anyway, I was trying to think of something original to say about your work besides wonderful, beautiful, awesome etc. It will come to me (may have to make up a word). I love your linework and colors, and you witty rationale! OK...I ENVY it.
Thank you for your comments on my blog.
