Last night two of my buddies and I met for the first time since June to draw from a model. You can tell I'm a bit rusty.Though I've been drawing nearly every single day, I haven't been drawing the figure. My mind and fingers will have to reacquaint themselves with the visual vocabulary of the human body.
The model was very buxom, as you can see. I kept checking and rechecking that I was not exaggerating that feature, but I really wasn't. We meet again on December 7 with this same model. I like a challenge.
Wow, they're both really great Laura. Classic and lovely. but then, so are you.

I'm so glad you're back to some figure drawing -- I love to see your work! Beautiful!

The only rusty thing on this page is that seed holder!
This is not rusty at all! The drawing captures beautifully the personality, and the lines are so beautiful.

Thanks, everyone! Terri, the one on the left was very quick, ten minutes at the most. The one on the right was 20 to 25 minutes.

You really are inspirational Laura. I want to go back to my life-drawing classes now!! These are gorgeous. How much time did you have for each of these poses?
