Some days it's like pulling teeth (yesterday, for example) but other days it is zippy and fun! So here are two interiors from the good times. In the dark days ahead when walls and floors clash, when legs of furniture go horribly astray, let us remember we had our happy moments. Shall we?
At Charlie's Chinese restaurant. Drawn last night, painted this morning. Please scroll down for whole image.
One of two entryways in our house, drawn while sitting on the floor. The other entry has fewer curlicues and I will draw it later this week. But, man, drawing those curlicues was so fun after doing battle with straightish lines for 16 days. I had intended to paint this, but I like it black and white, for the moment anyway. Pen is a nice change, too, after all that pencil. Another one that requires scrolling down to see.
wonderful, wonderful ... red lanterns and weak chins! xoxo

and wonderful curlicues! a great ease and flow to your line (something I want to improve on), looks like you had such fun drawing them!

yikes, so many people and complexity in a scene like the chinese restaurant, bravo on your sketch and handling what would have been to me too intimidating to attempt, you drew it so beautifully!

Really enjoying your interiors. I particularly like this black and white one

Great interior - especially like those red laterns. There's a sense of being there in the drawing. It really works. And you should draw yourself into the interiors.
