With these two sketches of Regina, I've made 30 drawings of people for the month of April. I have so much more to explore on this topic ( a lifetime's worth!) that I've decided I'll do another month of people sketches later in the year. I'm leaving Friday for a fun trip and will be back May 10. I'll give more information about my itinerary tomorrow and will post sketches from the trip while I'm away.
In May the topic will be Exteriors/Landscapes.
Greetings Laura... it's been a while since I sat for the April drawings and baby Esther has arrived since, birthed June 16th. I deeply enjoyed participating in this creative journey and hope that you and others will still be interested in another shared experience with my infant daugther as we discussed when last together! Your work is awesome and I consider myself privledged to have the opportunity.
Be well & ever inspired! ~Regina

Great poses, balance, details--I really enjoy your sketches of people. They're great in color, too, but I have a special place in my heart for monochromes.

I love the drawing in color -- the blue wrapper adds to the intrigue. Lovely drawings! Can't wait to see what you do in France! :-)

She is beautifully done. And I do like that bright blue. And most definitely do another month of these.

Regina is lovely and your drawings are exuberant and full of character. It's amazing how the addition of the wrap makes that one drawing so much more mysterious and exotic. :o) Bonvoyage my friend. Have a wonderful trip. I'll be eagerly checking in each day to see if you've posted new travel drawings. :o)

Thank you, thank you, one and all. I do enjoy drawing people. Exteriors and landscapes, though, will be a nice change of focus, from a close point of view to deep space--or, at least, deeper space.
