I'm having an awful day today (computer problems) and my idea of bliss would be gardening in an english summer heat (and we're back to clouds her in London as well). Right - I've balanced up the whingeometer on the weather!

I went for a walk yesterday and then I just had to flee because it was far far too hot for such adventures. I better just observe nature from your drawings. :)

Wowee, I love how you did that sprinkler! You DO need to come and join me at the dam! You are really going to sizzle in that heat!


I learn so much from your drawings. Like how you draw the sprinkler first, and then fill in the flowers behind. I managed to get a few hours in weeding this morning before the heat set in. Had been discouraged this past weekend when, creating a new bed, I discovered a slab on concrete just below the surface. Part of this morning was spent getting enough of it out of the way to accommodate my new boxwoods.
