Today's the midpoint of September and I had to take a second look at our possibly abandoned motorbike from the beginning of the month. It looks untouched to me, still. Jaunty, though, and shiny, and not at all forlorn.
Here's a faun made of limestone from Whitehall Antiques. Wouldn't they make a pair, the faun and the motorbike?
Oh I love the faun. Such a great contrast with the bike. :o)

The faun looks like he is in a position to ride a motorbike, or maybe a horse. Enjoying your paintings.
