I am so glad to be back and starting to catch up on sleep -- and what a wonderful way to wake up! All these sketches so fine, but the figs/walnuts/chanterelle is especially amazing.

Your beautiful sketches are making me a little "home"sick. Well done! Hope you´re enjoying every minute there.

Thank you so much, les amis! Chris, the sun doesn't rise until after 8am, so no 6:30am sketching for me! The only other artist I've seen at work this trip was a woman painting en plein air in a park. No other sketchers so far. Linda, call me!! Maggie, I don't know if I will draw the Eiffel Tower or not---there are already so many Eiffel Towers out there ;D. Marly and all, the figs really are that blue! Cecelia, je t'aime et tu me manques beaucoup. Elaine, always so glad to have a word or two from you! Linda from Pa, the food has been good, though I eat by myself a lot. I'll post about food later. All the rest of my wonderful commenters, je vous aime!

Lin described perfectly what happens when I look at your sketches, indeed so true that a "dancing in my mind" occurs! wonderful wonderful visions of your travels, you make me want to attempt Paris, something I had never considered before, hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying it all, your drawings indicate that is so!

Great paintings. I'm going to try and call you today. Hope we manage to hook up!

Oh Laura, I am so jealous. You are seriously in your element. Food & France. I hope you are soaking up every single magical moment.

Great job. love the kiosk!
