I'm in a chatty mood, though heaven knows I need to be off doing other stuff. Yesterday, Ippy and I had our weekly art session together. She wanted to paint eggs, as she does every Easter season. She gets eggs from a neighbor with hens and the eggs are just beautiful au naturel, as pictured here, in the bowl.
Here's Ippy, talking on the phone and then painting away.
Tomorrow I leave for San Antonio. I'll be posting sketches while I'm there. I'll be meeting Lori Witzel, whose blog Chatoyance is a treasure trove of her photos, drawings, and poetry. Hasta la vista!
Wow - lots of great stuff here. you got to meet Lori! lucky! hope it was fun.

beautiful painting of the eggs! I recently sketched the most beautiful blue green arcana chicken egg, though, ended up looking like a lime! oops.
I wish Ippy would get a website so we could see her painted eggs, and her paintings too.

Thank you, thank you, dear people! Just time for a quick thanks and to say I will tell you what my palette is (though it's very changeable right now, for some reason)---when I get back.
