I have to admit, living in the Pacific NW most of my life, you've captured the sky perfectly in the daffodil painting.... right on. You need to come to see the tulip fields...... yum, the sun also shines once in awhile.

LOVE the top one, now that is seattle! :D xo

Thank you for your great response, you all! Robyn, these are sculptures made of tree trunks, metal and ceramic pieces. Marly, I couldn't think of the right way to say this---the trunk was the trunk of a station wagon. I'm neither as nimble nor as nerdy as you might have imagined! And while I don't love sketching trees qua trees, I seem to like to paint them in larger contexts. Chris, I see the similarity but I bet your daffs were balmier than mine ;D.

I like all of your work, but that dark moody landscape on top is fantastic.

Such feeling!

Beautifull daffodils.

You're so lucky to find all these delights in Seattle - beautiful work! xo
