We thought the baby might have arrived this past Monday, then it was Wednesday, now it may be next week---as K's health improves, the question of bringing baby J along early starts to diminish. Whew.
Waiting for the daily updates, I'm in the studio painting, trying to finish a series of 'After the Rain' paintings I started at the beginning of the year. Here are two. They look better in person.
Hi,
These paintings are really awsome.
May your baby be healthy and kind and bring many joy to self and others.
Kind regards,
José

Best wishes and happy thoughts to you and yours. We just received the news that my son and his beautiful wife are expecting their first child in April. This is the third for us and I am as excited, worried and thrilled as the first time we got on this 9-10 month roller coaster ride.

Funny how your paintings kind of convey that sense of waiting too!
Like the flower and porthole window juxtaposition in photographs as well.

Thank you very much for your comments, everyone! I appreciate your good wishes for the new baby and my daughter---keep them coming! I'm so happy to have my water series to continue to challenge me throughout this exciting time in my family's life.
