Your work is amazing. These drawings look like quick little sketches, but you've captured so much in them. The Madonna is beautiful.

Wow- beautiful work, Laura! You are so right about El Greco's influence on Picasso - we just saw a show at the Grand Palais which puts Picasso's work next to the masters who influenced him, and both El Greco and Velasquez were there. I didn't take the time to sketch, though....

Just beautiful. I particularly like the Virgin...such a peaceful wistful expression.

How perfect to be painting a Madonna study after your daughter's birth experience. If only hers could have been as blissful as your model in Immaculate Conception!
