I LOVED Brittany!!! I will say more about this as I continue to post my sketches and stories, but for right now a brief declaration of love will have to suffice. My mother is back in the hospital (though doing better, as of last night----they've discovered the source of a problem that has been plaguing her for a long while, so that is the bright side of this latest setback. We all hope this will allow her to really regain her strength and appetite.). I will be on the road again, to and from her town for the foreseeable future. My daughter Cecelia is coming, with her boyfriend for a ten-day visit (several days of which I will, unfortunately have to miss, due to my mother's illness), and our grandson Jonas turns one today, with a big party here tomorrow in celebration. So, lots going on.
Here, without further ado, are more sketches:
Love these sketches. So free, expressive and charming!

Hope your mother is doing better by now. Getting to see the grandkids is always a treat.
I really like your sketches here especially that first one of the beach in this post. Terrific.

Your sketches of the water and the rocks are just enchanting!!! You make it looks so easy.

Rocky Coast is my favorite of these Brittany sketches. So transparent, so fresh, it breathes.

Thank you very much, you all. Brittany was the perfect place for me at that point in the year and in my life.

Laura, these are brilliant!!! The water sketches are perfect, and I'm seriously loving that cathedral.
Hope your mom perks up and that they get everything straightened out for her.
