Five years old, more energy than any three other dogs put together, truly gorgeous, with a deliriously happy disposition, she fell in midstride yesterday morning and never got back up. Our Abby.

I'm coming to this very late - and I know how much the passing of a very dear pet means.
You are having an annus horribilis so far as nearest and dearest are concerned.
Laura, I just saw this post. I am so terribly sorry to hear your dog has died. Your sketches of her are lovely. I know the memory of her will stay with you. I'm sorry it was so abrupt. Roz
I'm late to this but truly shocked and saddened, I didn't know that could happen with dogs. Life can be so fragile often where it seems strongest. Much love.

I am so sorry.
I know how hard it is to lose older ones, but one so young? So suddenly?
I can't imagine.
So sorry.

So sorry, Laura - what a touching tribute. She will live on in your drawings.
