Since last we spoke, I've had to turn my attention to the kind of thing for which girding one's loins is necessary. No worries, I give it my all and then I can let it go, knowing I can't control the outcome.
On the periphery, art goes on. There's something so reassuring about examining the periphery and finding yourself still there, don't you find ?

Love the paintings, I particularly like the first one. The reds and blues do well with the background :)

You have some really amazing paintings. I think the grey one is amazing. I would love to know if they are for sale, or if there are prints.

Hi Laura, sending you a little extra girding this morning, I hope all will be well. As usual, the sketches are gorgeous. I see November in the last one, but actually quite like the monochromatic study, which concentrates our attention on the strokes and forms even more. xx

Thank you, Sandra. It's just what working in a series entails. This is my long-running study series for 2011. So glad you find them interesting!

Oh my goodness - I could never bore of these! How is it that you make the same kinds of sketches of the same kinds of things, each so unique and interesting? :0)
